There are quite a number of new licensed kits in Football Manager 2008 but still quite are number of kits are critically missing, like those from English Premier League for example. But thanks to the FM community and kit makers, all of that would be changed.

Another issue is there is a shadow at the back of the kit which you would notice and find it to be an eyesore. Well, someone has finally come up with a 100% workable workaround and many thanks to Scouser Till I Die from Sortitoutsi.net forum. Follow the steps below to get the kits megapack and kit shadow workaround closely.
if i have a new skin in this case steklo, do i have to put backgrounds, stadium packs, pictures etc in the graphics file there or still create a graphics file after ive clicked on Fm2008? Do I have to start a new game to see these stadiums and pics etc as I have created a graphics folder in with db, training etc, and put pics in there, and have also put the pics and backgrounds in the graphics folder for the steklo skin, but I cant see any of the changes?
would it not be possible for someone to create a utility i.e: "graphics manager" wich would look throughout your whole pc for: kits, logos, balls, backgrounds, skins, faces ect & create ONE config file wich is is easy to use (GUI/wizard based)and you could edit at any time you want. like a sort of graphics management datebase
Another great tactical mod is 5-2-3 Gasperini Attacking Structured from KEISO, a strategy based on the work of Italian manager Gian Piero Gasperini, who is currently playing exciting attacking football with Atalanta B.C.
After several mediocre seasons, Arsenal appointedHerbert Chapman as manager. Having previously guided Huddersfield Townto two of their three successive League titles, Chapman set about transformingArsenal from an average First Division club into one of the great namesin world football. He had the nearby underground station renamed "Arsenal" and pioneered the use of shirt numbers.
Most current players wear specialist football boots, which can be made either of leather or a synthetic material. Modern boots are cut slightly below the ankles, as opposed to the high-ankled boots used in former times, and have studs attached to the soles. Studs may be either moulded directly to the sole or be detachable, normally by means of a screw thread.[17] Modern boots such as the Adidas Predator, originally designed by former Liverpool player Craig Johnston, feature increasingly intricate, scientifically aided designs and features such as air pockets in the soles and rubber "blades" on the sole rather than studs.[18] The blades have been the subject of controversy as several top managers have blamed them for injuries both to opposition players and to the wearers themselves.[19][20]
The rules specify that all players, regardless of gender, must wear the same kit, however in September 2008 the Dutch women's team FC de Rakt made international headlines by swapping its old strip for a new one featuring short skirts and tight-fitting shirts. This innovation, which had been requested by the team itself, was initially vetoed by the KNVB, Dutch football's governing body, but this decision was reversed when it was revealed that the FC de Rakt team were wearing hot pants (very short shorts) under their skirts, and were therefore technically in compliance.[21]
Referees, assistant referees and fourth officials wear kits of a similar style to that worn by players; until the 1950s it was more common for a referee to wear a blazer than a jersey. Although not specified in the rules, it is considered a principle of football that officials wear shirts of a different colour to those worn by the two teams and their goalkeepers.[28] Black is the traditional colour worn by officials, and "the man in black" is widely used as an informal term for a referee,[29][30] although increasingly other colours are being used in the modern era to minimise colour clashes.[31] The 1994 World Cup was the first in which FIFA dispensed with black kits for officials.[32] Referees also sometimes have sponsors' logos on their shirts, although these are normally confined to the sleeves.[33]
FM face packs are sought out each year by the community as they bridge a realism bridge that licensing issues always knock down. Player likenesses are a whole other thing on top of the problems with kits and badges, so some of the more dedicated members of the FM community like to upload massive folders full of real player faces that Football Manager 2023 can then easily draw from to bring them to (static) life in the game.
Football Manager is a world where reality blends with footballing unpredictability, played on Windows, MacBooks and on mobile. At its most watered-down, it is a turn-based role-playing-game where you take charge of the club of your choice and then compete against the virtual equivalent of real-life managers on the game. It also offers unprecedented control. You can start a war of words with Jurgen Klopp or tap up the next Erling Haaland; you can get angry at your bosses about your data analysts' facilities, or fine a player if he goes AWOL from training.
Clubs have even turned to the game for scouting tips using its vast database. Everton signed a deal in 2008 to get an early look at the database prior to launch, while even a few current managers took their first steps into the dugout thanks to Football Manager.
"It's a fantastic game, I have learned a lot about football from it," Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said back in 2013. "I remember thinking the same then, that I do as a manager, you want to give young guns the chance and see them develop. Many of my players play FIFA and Football Manager -- I think it helps them to understand football better."
